Domain data is easy to get and hard to trust.
WHOIS output differs by registry, RDAP is not everywhere yet, and the two disagree often enough that a single lookup is a guess with a timestamp on it. Most tools pass that guess straight through to an alert.
Domainyze was built the other way around. The engine reads the registry itself, reconciles the answer against what it already knew, and treats disagreement as a reason to wait rather than a reason to send an email. Being told late is annoying. Being told wrong costs a name.

Ask the registry, in its own protocol
RDAP first, because it returns structured fields instead of prose that has to be parsed. WHOIS where RDAP is absent or known to be unreliable for that TLD, which we track per registry rather than assuming.

Confirm before we wake you
An availability result is checked again before it becomes an alert. A registry hiccup and a name genuinely dropping look identical in one read, and only one of them is worth an email at 3am.

Say what we saw, and label what we inferred
A drop date we watched a name arrive at is shown as an observation. A drop date calculated from the registry phase durations is shown as an estimate, in the language of an estimate, and never dressed up with a time of day it cannot know.
