Which Domainyze feature do I need?
For domains you own, start with expiry monitoring and status monitoring, then add DNS change detection if the zone matters to you. For names you want, use a watchlist for specific names and a marketplace wantlist for names that match criteria.
What is included on the free plan?
Up to 5 monitored domains, availability and lifecycle-stage alerts by email, a drop runway in days, and the free tools. The portfolio, renewal reminders, SSL and DNS monitoring, the estimated drop date, burst checks and Slack, Discord and webhook delivery are on Pro and Business. See pricing.
How quickly am I alerted when a domain becomes available?
Within minutes of the check that sees it. Availability alerts are sent on a priority queue ahead of every other alert. How soon the check happens depends on the plan: every 12 hours at rest on free, and on paid plans as often as every minute inside an observed drop window.
Where does Domainyze get its data?
From the registries themselves, over RDAP first and WHOIS where RDAP is missing or unreliable, and from your domains’ own authoritative nameservers for DNS. Nothing requires your registrar login, so domains at any registrar, or in a client’s account, can be monitored together.
How do you check often without hitting registry rate limits?
Every registry read goes through one gateway that meters requests per registry and backs off when a registry starts refusing. Check frequency follows what a read is for: names close to dropping are checked hardest, names at rest far less, so the budget is spent where timing matters.
Can I export my monitored domains?
Yes, on Pro and Business. Your watchlist or portfolio exports as a CSV with each domain’s status, registrar, creation date and expiry date. Every plan can add domains in bulk by pasting a list.
Do you support internationalized domain names (IDNs)?
Yes. A domain with non-ASCII characters is monitored like any other. To see the ASCII form a registry uses for it, try the punycode converter.
