The Aftermarket page in your dashboard lets you browse the live domain resale market by hand: every auction, closeout, and buy-now listing across GoDaddy and Dynadot, in one filterable view. It is the same market that aftermarket monitoring watches for your own names and that a wantlist saves as a standing search. Browsing it is included on every plan, free ones too.
What you are searching
The list runs against the live resale market, refreshed twice a day from GoDaddy and Dynadot. It is the counterpart to an availability search: an availability check looks for names about to become free, this looks for names about to be sold. Most good expiring names never reach the public drop, so this is where you find the ones an availability watch never will.
A listing that has ended, or that has not been seen in the last day, is treated as gone and is not shown, so what you see is current rather than a full history of everything that was ever listed.
The filters
You narrow the market with the same filters a wantlist saves, plus a few browse-only ones:
- Name contains — a keyword, with
*wildcards for starts-with, ends-with, or contains. - TLD — one or more extensions.
- Marketplace — GoDaddy, Dynadot, or both.
- Sale type — auction, closeout, or buy-now.
- Price range — a minimum, a maximum, or both.
- Valuation range — the marketplace appraisal, where the listing carries one.
- Minimum traffic — estimated monthly visits, where the listing carries it.
- Minimum brandability — a name-quality score from 0 to 100.
- Length — a minimum, a maximum, or both.
- No hyphens / no numerals — exclude names whose label carries a
-or a digit. - Ending window — before or after a date, or within the next few hours, to surface the auctions and closeouts on the shortest clock.
The list re-runs as you adjust the filters, and you can sort it and page through the full set of matches.
What each result tells you
Every match carries the same set of facts, read from the marketplace feed:
- Price — the live bid on an auction, or the asking price on a closeout or buy-now, in the listing currency.
- Valuation — the marketplace appraisal, where the feed carries one. A reference point, not a promise.
- Traffic — estimated monthly visits where the feed reports it, an early read on whether a name still draws type-in interest.
- Brandability — an offline 0 to 100 score for how a name reads and sounds, computed the same way across every listing so you can compare and filter on it. It is the same name-quality signal Domainyze shows elsewhere in the product.
- The deadline — the auction end time or closeout drop time, for the two sale types that run on a clock.
- A View link — straight to the listing on the marketplace, where you bid or buy.
Turning a search into a standing wantlist
Browsing shows what is live right now. To make a search keep working after you close the tab, save it as a wantlist: it re-runs the same filters after each refresh and emails you a digest when new listings match, so you set the filters once and the matches find you. Browsing the market is free on every plan; saving a search as a wantlist is a paid feature, covered in understanding plans and limits.
A few honest limits
- Valuation and traffic come from the marketplace and are estimates. Treat them as filters, not guarantees.
- Prices and deadlines move between refreshes. Open the listing to confirm the live figure before you bid.
- This is a browse, not a checkout. It points you at the live listing; it does not place a bid for you.
There is also a public version of this search you can try without an account, at the free aftermarket tool. It shows a single page of matches rather than the full, paged view here, but it uses the same live market.
