Tracking a domain that you want to acquire is the primary function of the Domainyze Watchlist.
Here’s the simple process:
- Identify the Domain: Find a domain that is currently registered but that you would like to own.
- Add to Watchlist:
- From your dashboard, click the "Add Domain" button.
- Enter the domain name.
- Ensure the Watchlist monitoring type is selected. This is the default and is designed specifically for monitoring domain availability.
- Select the statuses you want to be alerted on. For acquiring domains, the most important status is Available.
- Click "Add Domain(s)".
- Wait for the Alert: That's it! Domainyze will now monitor the domain for you. Our system will check it periodically and will send you an instant notification if its status changes to
available.
Tips for Success
- Act Fast: When you receive an availability alert, act quickly. Dropped domains, especially valuable ones, can be registered by someone else within seconds.
- Have Your Registrar Ready: Know which registrar you are going to use to register the domain and have your payment information ready.
- Monitor Multiple Domains: Don't put all your hopes on a single domain. Add multiple potential domains to your watchlist to increase your chances of success.
