How to Change Your Plan

You can adapt your Domainyze plan as your monitoring needs change. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades are managed through our secure billing portal.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you need to monitor more domains or unlock advanced features like SSL and DNS monitoring, you can upgrade directly from your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your Domainyze account.
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings.
  3. Go to the "Subscription" tab.
  4. View the available plans and click "Upgrade to [Plan Name]".
  5. If you are moving from the Free plan, you will be taken to a secure Stripe Checkout page.
  6. If you are already on a paid plan, the system will process the upgrade immediately and charge the prorated difference.

Your new plan benefits and increased domain limits will be applied immediately.

Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade to a lower-tier paid plan or return to the Free plan:

  1. Navigate to your Account Settings.
  2. Click the "Manage Subscription in Stripe" button to open the secure Customer Portal.
  3. In the Stripe portal, select "Update Plan" to choose a lower tier, or "Cancel Plan" to return to the Free tier at the end of your cycle.
  4. Important: Before downgrading, ensure your current domain count is within the limits of the new plan. If you exceed the limit, some domains may stop being monitored.

Important Notes

  • Proration: Stripe automatically calculates prorated charges when you upgrade mid-cycle. You only pay for the difference for the remainder of the period.
  • Immediate vs. Delayed: Upgrades happen immediately. Downgrades typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
  • Manual Subscriptions: If your plan was granted manually by an administrator, you will see a message stating it is "manually managed." In this case, please contact support to change your plan.

If you have any questions or encounter issues when changing your plan, please don't hesitate to contact support.
